  The Matrikx Pb1 filter cartridge is designed for city water supplies and lasts up to 2,500 gallons (about 6.5 gallons per day). The activated carbon block will reduce chlorine, bad tastes, odors and chemicals. Relatively inexpensive, highly effective.
